After graduating with a Master of Marketing from Deakin University, Lily navigated her way through the fashion industry in various roles. In 2012, she seized the opportunity to work with international bridal designers like Pronovias, Mori Lee, Ian Stuart, Enzoani, and Peter Trends and managed custom made bridal production in China.

In 2015, Lily boldly decided to leave her job and return to her hometown of Hanoi, Vietnam, to conduct her research and find a factory workshop that aligned with her high standards of craftsmanship. She travelled to China, Taiwan, and Japan to source the ideal fabric and assemble the best team to collaborate with her in Hanoi. After creating several dress samples, Lily returned to Australia, bringing her designs to share with teachers, masters, and professional couture seamstresses she knew, seeking their expertise and guidance to refine her work.
